Now entering
its eigth year, Cielo Latino has raised nearly $1 million in
profits for the Latino Commission on AIDS and is the leading
Latino AIDS benefit. The event has provided funds for ground-breaking
programs such as a Spanish-language treatment clearinghouse
and the Religious Leadership Project. A media partnership with
the New York Daily News created the bi-annual and bilingual
"AIDS Awareness" magazine, providing crucial educational information
on HIV/AIDS to New York's Latino communities. |
